Shannon & Cameron

Shannon's wedding was so much fun! She surprised her groom by wearing a scarlet red dress instead of traditional white. It was absolutely stunning!

I so much enjoyed doing Shannon's flowers. They were fun and flirty with deep burgundy hues all the way to sunny yellow. Giant orange dahlias and red magic roses mixed in with burgundy dahlias and yellow billy balls. I added some tiger striped phalaenopsis orchids as accents.

The maids carried Black Magic roses accented with burnt orange asiatic lilies wrapped with a light orange satin ribbon.

The aisle was decorated with a very elegant bifurcated orange and ivory petal path lined with shepherds hooks on which hung vases filled with Black Magic roses and hanging amaranthus.

The groom's bout was really, really lovely. Two mini burgundy dahlias along with yello billy balls wrapped with burgundy satin ribbon and accented with bronze bullion wire.

The guys sported Black Magic roses tied with light orange satin ribbon.
Shannon, I had soooo much fun doing your wedding flowers. Thank you for trusting me with your special day! I hope you have a blast at Disneyland! =)

Heather & Michael

I absolutely love LOVE Heather's flowers!!! They are my favorite to this point. I was really bummed that I couldn't stay and see them with her, but I was unable to. However, I did get some pics of the flowers without the bride and entourage.

Heather's flower consisted of a gorgeous fall color palate. There were red dahlias and huge orange dahlias, mixed in with celosia, black baccara roses and dahlia buds all wrapped with a chocolate silk wrap and light orange pearl pins. It was a very fun, bright bouquet.

I loved the guys bouts! Beautiful large orange dahlias tied with red satin ribbon and accented with bronze bullion wire.

The maids' bouquets were made from orange milva roses with three bright red dahlias in the center wrapped with red satin ribbon.

Heather opted to go non-traditional on her aisle decor. She had me do a large monogram in orange and red carnations (since they don't mind being stepped on).

Melissa & Connor
Pretty, pretty bride! Melissa's flowers were a mixed bouquet of deep purples and white with lilac and a hint of pink wrapped with a light purple satin ribbon.

What a gorgeous couple! I'm so happy you let me be a part of your special day!

April & Chad
August 1, 2009

On August 1 I had the pleasure of creating April's floral arrangements. It was a real joy. Her bouquet was one of my favorites to date. Large callas surrounded with white dendrobium orchids and finished off with a cascade of green cymbidiums. Very, very beautiful if I may say so myself. =)

Chad sported a very handsome green cymbidium orchid arranged with equestrium and lily grass.

The maids carried white and Green Goddess callas with equestrium.

The groomsmen sported white dendrobium orchids placed atop two green equestrium stalks.

Good luck to you both! You are a lovely couple, and I wish you all the happiness in the world!

Ps. Thanks to Anna (Brownstone Photo) for the pics!

Amal & Juan, July 18, 2009

July 18, 2009 was
D-DAY
for Amal & Juan

Amal & Juan - what a beautiful couple. Both of them are stationed in the U.S. Armed Forces for which I honor them both.

I have to say that Amal's color scheme was one of my favorites to date.
The colors were just amazing together. Definitely eye-catching.

Amal's bouquet consisted of
white Escimo roses, purple Iris,
Triton blue delphinium and white freesia.

The maids' bouquets were made with Black Magic
roses, purple Iris, blue Statice and green Hypericum.

This little guy was an adorable ball of energy!
Amal & Juan,
It was a pleasure to work with you. Again, I thank you for your service to our country. I wish you the best of luck in the future and that you will have a safe and successful life together.

Kristen & Will

June 20, 2009, was
THE BIG DAY
for Kristen and Will.
Kristen's flowers were beautiful. Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay and get pics of Kristen with her flowers personally as I usually do, but I did take some pictures of the flowers... with me... in my hot pink/gray shirt. Didn't quite tie in the her color scheme. =) Please forgive that.
How cute is this guy?

Kristen's tear-drop bouquet was made up of white hydrangea, Charming Unique, Shocking Versilia and Vendella roses and white freesia.

The maids carried small bouquets of white hydrangea and Charming Unique roses, hand tied with pink ribbon.

Kristen & Will,
I'm so glad that I was able to be a part, however small, of your special day.
I wish you much happiness and a very long, successful marriage.

Amanda and Ryan, May 29, 2009

On May 29th, 2009, I had the honor of designing flowers for Amanda & Ryan's wedding. It was a very beautiful day and the bride was radiant. The flowers turned out lovely.

Amanda has great affection for hydrangeas, so we placed them liberally throughout her bouquet. I added to that white Blizzard and Anastasia roses.

She also wanted to accent the white hydrangea and roses with champagne and we did that by placing dried gypsophilia in small clusters throughout the bouquet. The result was just stunning.

Amanda's bridesmaids carried white Blizzard and Anastasia roses tied with champagne and crisscrossed black ribbons.

The aisle had a beautiful,
very poshy
pathway of 175 Blizzard & Anastasia roses.

All in all it was a gorgeous wedding.

Congrats, Amanda & Ryan! I'm so happy for you. May you have a long, blissful life together.

Truly,
~Mary

Margaret & David

Well, this last weekend was a whirlwind, for sure. I had Margaret and David's wedding which turned out just beautifully and I also prepared 40 corsages for the annual Mother's Day service at my church. Whew... After a few days to recuperate, I'm feeling great and can't wait to update everyone on how it all went.

First of all, Margaret & Dave, your wedding was so beautiful. You both looked just happy as could be and the dresses, tuxes, cake and, of course, the flowers were gorgeous.

Margaret's Bouquet of Hot Chocolate and White mini calla lillies was just beautiful. One of my favorite creations, I must say.

Of course, Dave's bout matched...

The bridesmaids and junior bridesmaids carried mixed bouquets of Creme de la Creme, Freedom, Impulse and Movie Star roses with eye-catching clusters of green spider mums and yellow buttons.

Margaret & Dave, you were gorgeous! I wish you the best of luck in your future life together, and I'm so glad I got to be a part - even a small part - of your beginning. You are so sweet together. May the road be a long, loving, prosperous, fun adventure for you both.
